In today’s volatile world, “not being prepared” is not an
acceptable excuse anymore. With the constant threats of terrorism and crime
looming as ever-present dangers, you absolutely need to be ready to adequately
respond to any threat. Specifically designed for everyday carry and ideally
suited for vigilant citizens and hunters, the new Blue
Force Gear Micro Trauma Kit NOW! (TKN) is designed to hold and allow rapid
access to all essential, lifesaving medical supplies during emergencies.
The Blue Force Gear Micro TKN can be comfortably attached to
the small of your back or on your kit, and it won’t weigh you down because it
isn’t big or bulky, which is a welcome, innovative change from the norm. An
excellent choice for going from a low-vis mission to a hi-vis mission, the
front of the Blue Force Gear Micro TKN’s outer pouch has a laser-cut cross
design with three signal indicator inserts: black, red, and highly reflective
glow-in-the-dark. These inserts allow you to “mark” the kit, meaning you can
change the color of the insert, thereby giving you the ability to display the
indicator that best suits your individual needs: You can go daytime/nighttime
reflective; you can go black if you need to exercise discretion; or you can go
red to denote it as a medical pouch.
Constructed of TEX 70 bonded-nylon thread and measuring six
inches by three-and-a-half inches by two-and-a-half inches, the Blue Force Gear
Micro TKN is comprised of two main compartments: a belt-mounted outer pouch
equipped with Ten-Speed® military-grade elastic and a removable inner carrier
that organizes all your medical supplies.
The Blue Force Gear Micro TKN’s belt pouch features two
adjustable hook-and-loop tabs that can fit on virtually any belt, ranging from
everyday-pant belts to two-inch duty belts. Additionally, the belt pouch can
also be mounted on MOLLE. Its inner carrier can easily be deployed by pulling
the featured BLIP pull tabs, all with the use of one hand or finger, no matter
if it is positioned on the left- or right-hand side of your body. When not
being used, the kit can be conveniently stored inside a low-profile mission
kit.
